Last night I had a dream where I was thin. Really thin. Maybe even too thin... but in the dream I looked in the mirror and I was very pleased with my results. Hopefully it was a predictive dream :)

Also, I think I had bread at some point in that dream. Man, I can barely remember the last time I ate bread, and I don't remember at all when the last time was I had pasta. Surprisingly and fortunately, I don't really miss either one very much.

Yesterday was a hungry day. I was sluggish and headachey and all I wanted to do all day was eat. I did give in to my body's cravings, but I did it in a healthy way. I had more salad than usual, and a few servings of light cheese that I really like. I still stayed below 1400 calories.

Unfortunately, I still saw a gain of 0.2 pounds today. Oh well. Can't lose weight every day. Besides, I'm thinking maybe this is one of those phases where my body is adjusting to the diet. I feel different today and yesterday than I was feeling in the beginning of the week. Not as energetic, more hungry... so I think it might be a few days until things get back to normal.

I think I'm beginning to be much more in-tune with my body. This is a good thing :) And in general, yesterday notwithstanding, I've been feeling much better and more energetic than ever before. You should have seen me in college! Naps almost every day and barely managed to drag my ass to class, even if it was at 11am.

So, despite my gain today, I'm staying positive!
141.7 lb Lost so far: 10.3 lb.    Still to go: 11.7 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
