Hi Brenda, you asked about losing 3 lbs per week. Soon after starting, I adopted a way of eating that limited me to 400 cal meal and 1200 per day. As you know. when you weigh a lot, that's not much to eat. That helped me lose without a lot of exercise. As my weight fell and the weather warmed up, I started biking more and more. At first all I could manage was 6 miles. Now my standard bike routes are between 20 and 40 miles. By July I was biking 50 to 100 miles per week. I wear a Fitbit and it tracks my calories burned. If I ride 32 miles and I exert myself to go as fast as I can, it takes 2.5 hours and I burn nearly 3000 calories on the ride. Many days this summer I burned over 4000 calories and some days more than 5000. I use FS to track calories in and Fitbit to track calories out. I make sure every day, out is more than in by at least 1000 calories. Losing a pound takes 3500 calories burned. 3 pounds takes 10,500 calories. So if calories burned are 10,500 more than calories eaten. Your body should have burned 3 lbs to make up the difference. Bottom line, it has taken me biking those 1500 miles this year to burn enough calories out to drop 3lbs/wk. From your posts I can see you have some health issues that may temporarily hold you back from exercising too hard right now. But hear this. 2 lbs a week is Fantastic!!! Many on this site would kill to maintain that kind of loss. Your total weight loss is astounding and it earns you genuine superhero status here. You need to own that. I am in awe of you. As you continue to lose, find activities you can do to burn more calories. Biking is good for me because my joints are in such bad shape, walking was hard and running was just out. Keep going Brenda, you are crushing this!!!.

gastropod,Thank you very much I will try to find an exercise that doesn't impact my legs too bad and thank you for all the other information. And you are also a superhero on here you're doing a fantastic job you also got this.
