I am a Herbalife supervisor and I have had my Tanita for over 6 years now and weighed many clients. It's an awesome make.

With any scale you need to make sure you weigh on exactly the same spot every time.

I agree ... I have a Salter electronic scale and in 12 hours I had gained 1.5kg. Impossible !

There's nothing wrong with your scale. Your weight fluctatues naturally through the day. You can gain 4-5 pounds. Lol...

1) Don't weigh yourself on an unsteady/soft surface (eg. A carpet). 2) Weigh yourself in the morning, after your first urination and before you eat - Your weight fluctuates throughout the day as you eat and drink water. I personally weigh myself once a week.

@Banda and @Ntsika I agree, I weigh myself first thing every Monday morning on a level tiled floor but it fluctuates

Make sure the surface is level. And weigh yourself once a week. Choose a day. Weigh yourself in the morning before you eat (after your shower)
