Slowly but surely, trusting the process, it is working! I know I'll get there! :) Going into week ten of my new life style, I don't feel deprived anymore of the foods I used to eat. It can be a bit challenging when friends or family want to go out to eat, not that I am tempted but I don't want to put things into my body that I don't know entirely what it is. If I cook I know what I am getting, so this is my only real challenge. Also the cost of a basic salad with grilled chicken is stupid when I can make it for penny's compared to what they sell it for. I used to be more social in the "going for lunch" or dinner with friends but am not interested in the weeks the scale goes up, and that's with eating a salad with grilled chicken. However, last weekend we were away I packed everything for myself to eat and we had a later dinner out, might have been the best salad I've EVER had! Unfortunately that restaurant is a good 45 mins away from me so not everyone would want to meet there ;) Thanks for listening and if you have eating out tips please share...

I've always struggled with eating out as well. I don't want to eat all the 'good stuff' but don't want to pay for the salad. I try to only eat out places where I can build my plate, chipotle, garbanzo etc. Then I have a little more control.

I was addicted to Nutella Hazlnut spread and could finish a 750g jar in one go. Not only have I weaned myself off that disgustingly fattening stuff, I think even a spoonful will make me throw up - which is good for me! :)

Going the unprocessed food route works for me. At first I thought whole wheat bread (one slice for breakfast) was good for weight loss. After reading the ingredient list, I bought my own ingredients and made my own bread. Then I decided I didn't need any kind of bread lol. I do enjoy what I eat now with no guilt except my PB, which you might have read. Today after reading an article online that included PB I feel really good about it now.
