So I decide I need more exercise to kick this weight loss journey into high gear. I started walking 40 minutes every day at 4mph. I've added weights, squats, and planks three days a week. What happens? My weight goes up two pounds. Bleh. Of course... Maybe it's the tequila I had over the weekend. Maybe it's that time in my cycle. Maybe I've eaten too much salt. Nah, easier to blame the exercise. ;) lol.
237.0 lb Lost so far: 6.0 lb.    Still to go: 57.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

As dumb as it may sound the exercising will absolutely add weight at times as you convert fat to muscle as muscle is heavier. We've all been there lol.

I think it's the salt & alcohol. The exercise takes time to build muscle & gain weight.

I dont think you've gained weight by doing weights... that usually takes a while. Check after a couple of days. .. so many factors can account for this. .. eating late, drinking water very late. . Irregular bowel movement etc etc Don't lose hope. . Keep doing what you're doing :)
