some diets don't suit just anyone. if I was you I would maybe try protein shakes instead of Slim fast. hope you don't just drink shakes and you have healthy meals in between???

The slim fast has a lot of protein which is to help me do my work outs. I have one for breakfast then protein snacks, one for dinner then protein snacks then a normal tea upto 600 calories but healthier options. I finish eating before 7am and mix up my excersise between cardio and muscle building. I've tried all sorts. Doesn't help I have ailments. And certain foods I can't eat even though I used to love them. Bodies change unfortunately.. I will mix things up a bit as I miss a bowl of muesli now and again lol.

I hate to say it but WHAT ABOUT EATING REAL FOOD!! You can be vegan or vegetarian without powders! Real lovely fresh, crunchy, juicy, tasty food!

I have a Herbalife shake every morning and I love it!! Suits me as I drink it in the car on way to work. a teaspoon of coffee and ice makes the difference 👊

I would suggest looking at shake the weight products, they taste great and offer ready made meals too. Delivery is fairly quick and I found the price difference was a fiar bit than other brands. 😊

I'm no expert, but have you tried different recipes instead of shakes?? there are some lovely low calorie dishes. maybe it's because I don't like shakes but I feel your missing out on some good grub and I'm sure ull enjoy it more 😊 just a suggestion

Why not try eating real food ......
Don't mean to sound hard but unless you have a sustainable diet of food you like you're just going to put weight on again when you're finished. You're not going to survive on slimfast milkshake for the rest of your life

Chrispix777 NOTHING worse than feeling rubbish on a regime you're following to better your life; that said, often trying something new in healthy eating front, first week or two can take our bodies a bit of getting used to. Hope you soon find what works better for you and well done on progress so far. Going down sizes - a great boost!

Agree with most the comments here about eating real food.
There is no better feeling than knowing what you are eating without having to read a long ingredient list from a label. Making your own food allows you that..you can also save some money. 👍

I was on Herbalife for a while and found the shakes don't have enough nutrients to keep my energy going. It works well when supplemented with salads, veg and maybe some beans or lentils. And a few pieces of fruit. I now only use it once a week on a low calorie day with the above supplements.

I agree with all comments made and I do struggle with certain foods due to reflux. With losing some weight it has already reduced the reflux. That's why I wanted to lose some quicker than usual and have lost half a stone now in 4 weeks. I will introduce more food into my diet when I am ready. I've suffered with reflux that much over the last 8 years I can fall asleep and wake up being sick. So it's just a matter of finding things I can eat. We are all different and we all have our own journey's. Good luck to everyone.

in regards to the reflux are you on a any kind of prescribed tablets I was prescribed some lansoprazole. obviously if you are then disregard this but I not talk to Dr

I am on omoprozole for the reflux been on them years now. They help a little bit. But even after brushing my teeth I can get reflux as it's mint flavoured. Rediculous really. I don't drink much alcohol at all now. Can't drink gassy things. No uncooked tomatoes or mushrooms and definitely not spicy food. Can't eat much red meat. I went for a endoscopy and they admit I have reflux but not bad enough to operate or anything so the only thing I can do is lose weight and hope that reduces the being sick. When I was 13 stone 7 I hardly ever got reflux so would be nice to get to there eventually and then maintain that weight. Have let myself go a bit especially with the last couple of years which probably everyone is in the same boat.

Good your on something annoying they don't see it as serious enough to operate 🙄 Good luck on your weight loss journey and hope you get to a point where the reflux doesn't affect you as much.
