A week so far of T25. I did it off & on many years ago, but never finished it. I remember why now. It's ok. Shaun T is an ok trainer. Tony Horton is MUCH better. The things that bug me the most about the workouts are:
1) The constant 'Woo!, Yeah!, Come On!' from off camera people. Sure sometimes its from the people working out, but most of the time it comes from off camera people trying to jin up enthusiasm is annoying.
2) The people working out are smiling. I'm sorry, if you're smiling in the workout, you are fake. It's not fun, its work. The thing I like about Tony Horton's workout, is he may be having fun doing them, but everyone is working. You see them really struggle, really work, not fake enthusiasm. It's real and down to earth. Even I'll crack a smile once in a while during Tony's workouts, but it's work.
3) More high impact. Lots of jumping and hard on knees. I do modify.
4) Tony Horton's workouts are designed better. I feel he really has a grasp on what exercises to work on what parts and it feels like everything gels very well together, each exercise is unique. Shaun T's workouts are not bad, but not unique and he repeats a lot between workouts. Tony's have just better overall design.
5) The music is very generic and kind of annoying.

I'll continue to do T25 until I finish or get annoyed with it, but likely will not do it again. It does focus more on cardio so maybe I'll drop the extra pounds a bit faster. It just makes you really appreciate Tony Horton's workouts. I really enjoyed 22 Minute Hard Corps, and while P90X was very good, it was just too long (45-60 minutes per workout), and P90X3 condenses that to 30 minutes. Even his 10 minute trainer is nice.
