This last weekend I ate poorly, and missed workouts Tuesday & Wednesday. I am very surprised I didn't gain any weight. I wakeup at 5:15am to workout, and Tony Horton does emphasize needing 8 hours of sleep. I am definitely seeing the effects more clearly of not getting enough sleep. If I get at least 7 hours of sleep, I am generally good at waking up at 5:15am and working out. Sometimes I even wakeup naturally 15-30 minutes before then, stay restful in bed then turn off the alarm right before it goes off. Monday & Tuesday night I stayed up later, either doing something around the house or watching YouTube, and the next two mornings I was too tired to get out of bed. I need to make 10:15pm a hard stop. If it gets 10:15pm, unless it is an emergency, I need to put my head down and go to sleep. Earlier if possible. Last week I also heavily modified the workouts for my knee and did stretches daily. I feel like there is progress, but still a way to go. This week I'm easing back into the workouts, and today did jumping jacks & burpees like normal. Will see how that goes.
