I will be switching over to weighing my food. I feel desperate. This weight is not coming off.I've bounced from 253, to 262.2 again.

My body is telling me that I am not going to lose all that weight again.

I lost 100 pounds last time. I gained it back when I completed the weight loss. So now I am 262.2 again.

My dietician wants me to record everything for breakfast. That's where we will start. I am a diabetic, and processed sugar is a major weakness.

I can't believe I have a team of people trying to help me, but every time I look at that scale, I want to just quit.

You, my friends, please help me out with it. I have no idea what to do with this food weighing pad.
262.2 lb Lost so far: 0 lb.    Still to go: 102.2 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

I definitely recommend weighing everything - it's the most accurate way to track what you're putting in your mouth. =) I have a little notepad that I keep next to my food scale so I can jot weights down while I cook, then I log it all in FS later. I home cook all of my meals so that I know exactly what and how much of each ingredient is in them, but if it's easier for you to eat prepackaged stuff for now, that's ok too. A lot of prepackaged material is in the FS database already. You'll still want to weigh it out, though! If it comes in a plastic container, weigh the whole thing before you eat it, and then weigh the empty container after you eat it, subtract the container weight from the whole weight and see how that compares to the serving size. If it says "1 serving (150g)" on the packaging, but what you actually ate turned out to weigh 175g, then record 175/150 = 1.12 servings. The serving size on prepackaged foods is almost never correct, which is why it's so crucial to weigh things out. =) You can do this!

I got a scale a few weeks ago. I need to start using it. My dad used it for a little while. That's the only time I saw him use it. Then it ended upon my bed. I have tare and units. I know tares reset it. But as per usual, I have no idea what to do. Any help would be awesome!
