It doesn't look as if it hurt you any. Still going down! Did you still do the 5:2 fast?

hi M2B yes I did, that will never change its part of my lifestyle now - and I really do enjoy the fast days in some macabre way. I guess the difference was last week that because of the holiday weekend, poker, dinner, comedy show and concert it was a 6:2, and each of the days was a wee bit higher cals that they should have been, one or two of them quite a bit more than they should have been :( because for me it was an unusually social week. And therein lies the real benefit of IF, any gains are only temporary (mainly retained water) and by having a fast day usually gets me back to where I should be. So Im learning that while I want to lose this weight, I know it will take time (of which I have lots of) and Im not compromising my social lifestyle because IF is by definition unregimented so I can work my fast days around my life, eat (and drink) sensibly on my feast days and record everything through here - good and bad, and everything stays on track overall with the right trend with just the odd speed bump or two placed on my highway to hell (to quote ACDC)

They say Highway to hell was written by Bon Scott about the Canning Hwy here in Perth, its one of the main roads from Perth to Fremantle, always busy and he was running late for a gig one night.......so the story goes. Fremantle is our major port city, and made famous as the place we defended the Americas Cup from when we won it from the Americans which was the first time they had ever lost it (over 100 years). The famous and top secret weapon the 'winged keel' got them. Of course they then got an even better winged keel and won it straight back LOL. Thanks Lyn, that's a bit of extra motivation right there to go for the 2 kilos, I will let you know next Monday if I did it.
