First, let’s all honor the fallen on US Memorial Day. My son is a marine, so we’ve seen some of the sacrifices, so honor those that have made the ultimate sacrifice.

Next, this weekend was the Houston Memorial hockey tournament. Four games is 2.5 days, is a lot for this body... especially at the “skill level” we play at 😬😩. We had a great time, closed the rink down on consecutive nights... didn’t win them all, but won the ones that counted.

Finally, I really didn’t want to step on scale and see the damage after the copious amount of beer, pizza, chocolate bars, more beer and donuts that fueled the tournament. Surprisingly, it’s not near as bad as I feared. That was almost better than the team performance this year!
