munestar32's Journal, 25 April 2009

Well, those two pounds didn't fall off, but after this week, it doesn't surprise me. Between being sick and eating very little and then going back to work and having lunches provided by work for two days, it was far from the healthiest eating week ever. Add onto that the fact I haven't exercised in weeks and well, little change was expected. I am beginning to think that things are just too stressful in my life right now with school, work, and home life to concentrate really well on what and how much I am putting into my mouth. As you could tell by my calendar, I haven't even had the time to record anything for the past week. I will continue to try to make good choices, but I am not going to be fanatic about it.

And now I am off to the races again! Homework, housework, and errands all await me.
166.3 lb Lost so far: 2.7 lb.    Still to go: 31.3 lb.    Diet followed poorly.

When the time is right you will know it. Don't sweat the small stuff. When life is super busy and you are feeling very stressed it is most likely not the "right" time for you to really focus on a change. There have been many times I "tried" and did not succeed. I think I wasn't "ready." It is always nice to see you here!! I would just say ... whatever you are doing, whatever your weight, how ever little you may be exercising ... be KIND to yourself ... you are worthwhile regardless of losing or not losing weight!! Take care and don't be a stranger!!

when it comes to weight loss, a common mistake that people make is having the "all or nothing" mantra. If they are not planning and preparing every meal they consume, or working out for hours a week, they think their efforts will amount to nothing. Its a huge misconception! The little things we do add up! you are doing the right thing by continuing to make the healthiest choices possible. If you find yourself too stressed to deal with it, then dont. Just keep in mind that its a work in progress and you will move forward as long as you make smart choices. As far as exercise goes, it doesnt take much to squeeze in a 10-20 minute walk. Even that will make a difference. Something is always better than nothing! But again, dont stress yourself out about it. It will only cause you more heart ache and no one wants that. Take care, lovey!
