Finished first week of Atkins! Lost a total of 9# which is encouragement enough to keep going...as long as I can tolerate the diuretic effects of Atkins.

Relearning how to measure foods and carbs. Finding things I like and learning to avoid others. Eating a lot of chicken, but then again, it is one of my favorites, as are green, leafy vegetables.
268.0 lb Lost so far: 3.0 lb.    Still to go: 78.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
losing 21.0 lb a week

Way to go!!! I am loving Atkins right now. Don't know how much I have lost but I can feel something is gone. Standing by my not weighing but once a month. Just afraid I will become obsessed with the numbers. Onward!! :-) Have a great day!
