And I’m back on my feet!! Sort of lol I’m officially a configuration of cells that anatomically resembles a human being again. After having (metaphorically) disintegrated over the past few days, I’d say that’s looking up. I spent *almost* all of my waking hours in the upright position today AND went to work. Lemme get a round of applause. So basically, I’ve returned to functional. I’m pretty happy with that.
To my surprise and wonderment, stepping on the scale this afternoon was a rousing achievement. Having been, what I would consider for myself, quite a layabout for days on end, I had expected stagnation at best. However, I got the very opposite! I’m still trending right along downward. I can’t even say how good that feels.
One last aside, I tried on some of my old dresses from when I was 15 today, just for kicks and giggles. They all fit! (For anyone wondering, that was 7 years ago for me). I felt the most comfortable in my own body at that age, so being, in a way, back in it is both surreal and exhilarating.
