PrairieRains's Journal, 29 April 2021

Well I am back... it has been rough week or so. Woke up one morning so nauseous thought I had caught something. Nope a gall bladder attack, never had one before. Dint want another either.

Then got my 1st vaccine and dang all I could keep down was clear broth.

So working with my Doctor, I am still doing locarb, just watching my fats.

Good news we have 3 left to calve out.
Spring has come to the prairies finally!!! I found crocuses in our native grass pasture.

Will be checking fence line starting this weekend so we can start moving cattle out. A wondergul time here on the farm.

Also the soil is warm enough I can clean the debris out of my flower beds, the ladybugs, bees and butterflies will be out and about.

Have a lovely day everyone.

My wife has had a few gall bladder attacks. The first one she (and I) were up in the wee hours of the morning. I finally ended up taking her to ER. They seem something fierce and I don’t wish them on anyone. Glad you are recovering.

Thank you all for the lovely comments. Ride Mariel I love spring everything is waking up. I actually have been building a butterfly/ hummingbird garden for a couple of years had 1 last year. Here on the prairies not so much in Alaska I had 4 feeders up and had to fill 2x a day. Daddy Manatee NO they aren't fun!!! So far so good. I also am taking milk thistle and lethicin. They are over the counter supplements. Health care here right now is pretty much nonexistent. I was thankful to talk with my doctor. Shrew thank you I have missed coming in. Time just got away from me. Thank you!!!😊
