Last night I totally messed up. I have been doing great all week... then last night I was helping my daughter make cake pops with her new cake pop maker, and when one of the cake pops broke off in the icing and she didn't want it... I just popped it into my mouth without thinking!!! OMG! As soon as I swallowed I was like "NOOOOOoooooooo!" I entered it into FS anyway, and wow! Those things are horrible!!! I shouldn't even let my kids have that crap!
Anyway, I was so upset with myself. It would be one thing if I actively chose to eat a treat, knowing that it would likely knock me out of ketosis and I would have to work hard for days to get back in and all that... but I did it MINDLESSLY!!! Argggg! So this morning I tested and I am still giving off ketones, but could it be that the sugar just hasn't gotten far enough yet? Or did I somehow stay in ketosis even with a 60+ net carb day?
Time will tell....
