Promised myself that I would only go off the wagon for 2 weeks while we were moving. I was working full time, trying to move without any help and football practice had just begun for my youngest. There was no time to cook or shop and trying all the new restaurants in our new town was alot of fun. Well it's been 6 months! I guess if I'm to be optimistic, I only gained 24lbs. But it feels as if I gained a 100! Nothing fits, I'm back to the full body aches, shortness of breathe, knee and back pain and no desire to leave my house and be seen in public. Holiday pictures were a nightmare!!! So when I awoke yesterday morning I decided enough is enough! I was just starting to feel better physically when I fell of the wagon. I am 44 years old, have been single for 13 years and really before that I was only married for 15 months so I don't think that really counts. I haven't been on a date in 14 years, nor until recently did I care. I've thrown myself into raising these boys and it's been a wonderful experience however the oldest leaves for college next year and the youngest will be a high school freshman, they're not gonna be here with me forever so it's time to get moving! It's time to start thinking about myself! Wish me luck !
