Feels great to have lost 9 pounds since starting FS. I've been able to be more mindful of what I eat and still feel satisfied.. for the most part.

I'd definitely like to have two big pieces of cake rather than a small one but I feel sort of empowered that I can now take it or leave it.

Also being honest in my calorie diary about my snacking and eating my kids food, when they were finished of course, has helped a ton in that I can set myself up for success rather than weight gain.
157.0 lb Lost so far: 9.4 lb.    Still to go: 12.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

One day, you won't even eat your kiddies leftovers. Just toss it in the garbage can or give it to stray-pets like I do. I just chalk-it-up to making believe that it's not there and I toss it. I too, used to eat my hubby's leftovers when he didn't finish his entire plate-full. Now, I serve him less and toss any un-eaten debris into the garbage or out the door for the stray-cats, racoons, skunks, birds, possums, etc. lol It's all good! Stay beautiful! :)
