stick with dark green veggies, fruit, and small amount of meat. Stay with chicken turkey and fish. Exercise,exercise,and exercise--30 minutes 6 days a week

Fruits of any kind ok???? Lots of salads I would assume??? Dressing ok??? And how about alcohol.... I do enjoy a dirty martini once or twice a week. I heard those points have more than doubled since the Points Diet..... Squirrely76, why do you like it better???

My wife does PointsPlus and she has lost 11 pounds in 8 weeks. It seems that it is a little slower going than the old Flex Plan, but it is working. I, as a guy, am following a looser version of Points Plus as well. I have officially lost 33 pounds in the same amount of time, but to be fair, I started 100 pounds higher than her and I work out more. If you are not around a PointsPlus calculator, the following equation works to within a point or so:
PointsPlus = (Protein + Net Carbs - Fiber)/10 + Fat/4
I agree that the new system rewards the “healthy” choices more than it used to (i.e. fruit is now free, where apples used to be worth the same as bag of chips.). WW works beef nicely into their dinner recipes, so you don’t have to give it up entirely. Now that fruit is free, it is a lot easier to stay below your daily points.
Yes, fruit and non-starchy vegetables are free and encouraged. Alcohol in moderation is not entirely discouraged, but drinks have indeed virtually all doubled in value. However, 1) As a woman you are allowed about 1/3 more daily points than before, and 2) You have 49 weekly flex points, where before you were only allowed 35 or so.
Hope this helped.
