Not very happy 😔 had a good week, calories under 1000, walked everyday more than 5km. Any advice would be helpful?

Hi there 💕 hope you are well. So firstly, for sustainable and healthy weight loss, it is advised that you never eat below 1200 calories (this is the minimum amount in fact). At your weight, you should be allowed a lot more, while remaining at a caloric deficit of 500 per day. Secondly, If you’re exercising daily, it is possible that you are not eating enough to lose weight. Yes, it’s possible. It’s seems counterintuitive but the more you exercise the more your body requires. By cutting down calories, you inadvertently put your body into starvation mode. The body will then reduce your metabolic rate if it senses it's starving and will hold on to the calories it's given thereby preventing or stagnating weight loss. The body is crazy I know. 1000 calories is definitely too little for a person who is walking 5km daily. If you don’t trust the calorie calculator on FS, I would suggest using an online one like I did. It will calculate an appropriate deficit based on your activity levels. Alternatively, go onto google and work out your TDEE using a calculator for it (TDEE calculator) and then just subtract 500 from that to determine how much you should be eating. ☀️ Good luck.

Agree with previous comment. Eating not enough can make your body retain weight instead of shedding.
As an extra make sure you get enough fibre in (like apples, all-bran, Muesli) and you can maybe do a little bit of weight training😘
