ccrai22's Journal, 10 January 2021

Continued health issues keep impacting my diet, I have blood sugar issues due to stress. I eat vegetarian, no sweets, tried to eliminate carbs completely for over 4 months. Not 1 pound lost, I broke out in blisters over my entire body and eyes. Too high acids in my diet
I am tired of being scared to eat. barely eating 800 - 1000 calories, not good for you either.
Starting off new year working with my doctor, try to control my blood sugar, more water and more movement. Its hard to move when you feel like complete crap every day.
235.0 lb Lost so far: 0 lb.    Still to go: 70.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

I read some of your journal. I'm sorry work is so difficult. I worked for a great company for 34 years but they required alot of overtime and it took its toll on my health. I'm retired now but I sympathize. Hopefully things will get better with time. All you can do is your best and let go of what you can't control. But I hope you can find some work life balance. I know it's really hard. If you need any tips on diet please ask. Many people including myself are here to support you. I strive for balance in my diet and exercise and don't go to extremes. I think that's the healthiest and most sustainable way. Its going to take time, patience and commitment. There's no magic way to get the weight off quicker. It's best not to cut calories too drastically unless your doctor tells you to. I started at 1800 cals and now I've lost 30lbs in 5 months but had to reduce down to 1600 now that I have lost some. I'm aiming for 1lb of loss per week. But its toll normal to do everything right and not lose or even gain a tiny bit then lose. Your body will be making changes that won't always be seen on the scale. You need to trust that it will come off unless you have some health problem that prevents it.

That was supposed to say totally normal to see fluctuations in your weight. Don't get discouraged that is where most people fail. Anyway let me know if you need any help. I have a few tips on how to stave off hunger etc...
