Hmm, Looks like Xmas and New Year has taken its toll. It seems so easy to put on, never quite as easy to take off :(
I suspect the number is higher that what it really is. Most of the beer from the last 10 days should start to work its way out of my system over the next week :)
So, now starts another year of dieting. I've decided to just continue with what has been working. Have set my goals of 75kg by 30th June, and ~70kg by next xmas. Although that is really the very lower level of what I can weigh, so it might end up being 72 or something. We'll see.
I have continued to find excuses not to go to the gym, it's been 14 months now :) I am still paying monthly, so its like I am there :)
I figured some exercise was probably a good idea, so at 52 I decided to take up ice hockey. I'm not very good, but I am enjoying it, and I spent 2k on all the pads, so I had better stick with it a bit longer ;)

PS, Late last year I actually got down to 77.6kg - so I am hoping to be back around there in the next month or so.

We've all had a rough end to the year so no need to beat yourself up. It is inspiring that you are re-setting yourself some achievable goals.. then it just a matter of staying focused on them each day, celebrating the wins and learning from the mistakes, all of that will add up to reaching the big goal. Good luck on your journey, I hope we all achieve our goals this year! 😁
