Definitely replenished my glycogen stores yesterday. It was a good break from restriction, and will keep me pushing forward. At times like this I'm thankful not to be on a ketogenic diet, having to worry about whether or not I'm in ketosis. :-p
In addition to my weekly goal of a pound of weight loss, measured on Monday morning at the end of my weekly fast, now that the color of my FatSecret progress indicator bar has been yellow for a few days, I'll add the goal of not creeping back up into the orange range. Keeping that in mind will help me not to backtrack too much this week in particular, where I'm just below the threshold between the ranges.

LOL PhatPhrog, I think you'd have no problem getting back in to ketosis. But yes, an occasional "day off" is a helpful push.

But I've been under the impression that it hurts to get back into ketosis...

Not really. It depends on how long you're out of it and if you're affected by keto flu in the first place. I'm one of the lucky ones that isn't, but even so, a day or two of being non-keto typically doesn't do much. A week or a month, well that's different. To be honest, for me at least, if I go too far above my carbs, that's what makes me sick.

I'll keep that in mind. I've certainly had headaches from fasting but maybe it would be different if I did keto instead.

You never know. You may want to start just by removing one group of carbs (grains, rice, legumes) at a time before going all out on keto. Or drop your carbs slowly.
