This has been my first weigh-in in nearly 9 months. I was surprised by two things: (1) I gained much less weight than I thought; (2) I have traded an excessive amount of muscle for fat, not a good deal. I was approx 15% body fat on my last weigh-in, and now I'm approx 21% BF. My goal is to get back down to 10% BF. I know for an old codger like me that it will take 6-12 months, accompanied by a finely tuned diet. Pray for me. I'm back. BTW, I'm already sore just an hour after my first workout, and that was only at my 50% capacity. I may have made an ambitious mistake.

Nice to hear from you! You were not well when you left and had some of us quite worried! I think it's good to take it easy getting back into it, take care of yourself!

Irland83, I think my wife and I had covid at that time, just days before the world was told what was going around. We survived. :)

Wifey9707, I was just being lazy, and the mirror kept reminding me of such.

It certainly sounded like Covid once we heard more about it. I am so glad that you have both survived! Well 5.5 pounds is not too much Just ease into your exercise slowly and you will be back to where you were in no time.
