This is generally where I start to fail in my diets. I have lost my first couple of lbs relatively quickly and have a really gung-ho day like yesterday. I drank all of my water and exercised for around 2 hours (with walking and treadmill)... and now I see a slight increase in my weight. Sure it is just .2, but it frustrates the heck out of me. However, I will use the 2-3 day rule. I figure that it takes 2-3 days to actually see the results of what you did today, so my 1500 calorie day is probably rearing its ugly head today and yesterdays good points won't show up until tomorrow or Monday... I hope!

That is why I try to only weigh in once a week, I usually hop on the scale anyway, but I think that is the safest way to not see an increase since your body fluctuates within a day by a few pounds. You had an awesome day and did a great job exercising for 2 hours! I'm feeling good if I get my 30 min in :) If you are doing that good, you will definitely see progress! I'm a little different. In the past I fall away from my diet because I see progress, not a plateau. I figure, oh I'm doing good, no need to diet anymore.
