Okay. Change of plan. Again.

A few months ago, I was ready to give weight loss a go. I was finally actually, really ready. Then, my life got turned upside down. People have been in and out of my house doing renovations, my niece moved in, my mom is moving, I've had lots of company... basically I haven't had a single day to myself in months and I still have at least another month of this to go. It has been extremely frustrating to me.

While I have been gaining my weight back, my husband's extra pounds have literally been melting off. He claims that it is from drinking lots of water. I was afraid that he might be diabetic again (last time he became diabetic, he was always thirsty and he started losing weight) but he said this time is different. He is drinking water because he chooses to, not because he's thirsty, and he's not feeling sick and tired like he did when he was diabetic. He's looking great and feeling better than ever. I never believed that he was losing so much weight by just drinking water (sometimes a pound a day) so I googled this and apparently this happens for other people. I saw a youtube video claiming that you can lose up to 20 pounds in 30 days by doing this. I'm not so sure if I believe this claim, but with my niece's wedding a month away, I'm willing to give this a shot!

SO, my new plan is drink lots of water. No more counting calories! No more depriving! If my husband can eat the same foods as always and drop the weight so easily then maybe I can do it to. I think I just have to keep water with me all the time. My husband said that when he feels his tongue getting kind of dry then he goes to the kitchen and drinks sometimes 3 glasses of water but I can't drink it like that so I'll just have to keep a glass of water with me around the house and keep sipping! I normally do this with tea and coffee, so now I just have to remember to do this with water when I'm not drinking tea or coffee! Let's see how this plan goes!
241.0 lb Lost so far: 2.0 lb.    Still to go: 66.0 lb.    Diet followed poorly.
gaining 0.5 lb a week
