You got this! You can ride out the tough weeks! I find I lose more if I don’t get way below my calorie count...I’ve heard it’s because the body starts holding onto calories but I don’t have science to cite to back that up. Setbacks are frustrating :/

Thank you. Once upon a time ago I lost 80 lbs.. it wasn't so hard. My kids then were grown.. I didn't want to be near that husband so I went from work to the gym everyday. For2 hours!! I have a 3 yo. A commute and a husband I like.. totally different demographics.. this 30 is killing me!

No doubt, weight loss/gain can be very frustrating. Most of us have gone, or are, going through the frustration. Persistence, diligence, deficits and planning do pay off...eventually. You would regret giving up. You can do this!

Could it be that your calorie allowance is too high?

Slow and easy does it. The calorie allowance can be deceiving. Mine is around 2,400 or something based on lifestyle (very active) but I know from experience that I don't lose an ounce unless I limit my intake to around 1,800 calories - or less - per day. So try to go a bit lower than the allowance, be diligent with the counting and the weight loss will follow.
