YAY! Finally! This is a new low. Keep going! :) Back to work today but still on track. Reducing the carbs in light of the thyroid and adding back the Hydroxycut seems to be helping. May not advise doc I've added back the stimulant but at this point, need the caffeine to function and whatever else is in there seems to be making a difference so...
Doc didn't care about the caffeine part anyway when I told him I was bottoming out and needed boosts several times a day. Can't be that big a deal. Oh well.

Dad will be here in 26 days. He's counting (and taking tanning lessons in Camden) the days and so am I. He really needs to move to FL. NY is too far away.

I think this is one of the only websites where "A new low" is a positive thing :P Congrats on the new low, I love that feeling :) I think you should tell your doctor you're taking Hydroxycut, I tell my doctor everything I take/do even if it's frowned upon by society - how else are they supposed to do their job efficiently? t Good luck, I hope you're having fun with your weightloss :)

I had mentioned it to him before and he wasn't thrilled because it was a stimulant and the dose of thyroid meds I was on had pushed me to hyper instead of hypo. So he took me completely off the meds for about 30 days to see where I'd land (new dr to me) to see where to put the dosage. The normal is 2-5. I was at 35. I was hardly able to function. So after 2 weeks when I tell him I'm still having a hard time, having to add back lots of caffeine to make it thru the day, he tells me it can take about 6 weeks (it didn't when I was first diagnosed). I'm using at this point for the stimulant more than the weight loss so I can function. May or may not tell him about it but it isn't stronger than coffee as far as the caffeine and he wasn't concerned about that, so. I appreciate the feedback though. I've been at this for 6 weeks (right around the whole thyroid fiasco) so this is the first I've lost in basically 6 weeks. I've had to cut way back on the carbs to get it to move. I'm trying for 8 veg net carbs and about 11 total. Hopefully at some point the thyroid will normalize and I can add more back in but it's still REALLY nice to see some movement. Come by anytime wanderer! :)
