Roxy Marie's Journal, 29 June 2020

I'v decided NOT to go to the YMCA gym or pool just yet. I'm just too paranoid of getting the virus especially since I will be going to visit my new granddaughter after she is born at the end of July. My friend told me they are taking everyone's temperatures at the Y upon arrival and masks are required but obviously you can't wear a mask in the pool. The numbers of Covid-19 are still up there so I am still not convinced it is safe to go to the Y just yet. I will continue to walk and exercise at home and continue with trying to eat right. My weight has been at a stand still and that is why I haven't been recording it.
I hope you all have an awesome week.
Every night as it gets closer to the 4th of July I hear fireworks going off. I feel sorry for my doggies poor ears. They howl like wolves.
Anyway, good luck to you all. I just wanted to check in.
185.0 lb Lost so far: 9.0 lb.    Still to go: 45.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

I’m a nurse. We check everyone’s temps prior to and after shift. People within our facility every shift. We have two positive this morning that have not ran any fevers. Please be safe.

No gyms are open for me, and it sure is a challenge keeping a fitness routine. But, I just try to keep in mind that I am just trying to hold steady right now and that is OK. You want to be healthy to see your baby! Every effort you take to not slip backward in your fitness is great!!!
