Today is my 26th wedding anniversary. I am still so in love and my husband. He is being so supportive of "our" new eating habits. I am a teacher so I am off for the summer and my husband works every other day and was off as well so we decided to go out to lunch at one of our favorite places in Annapolis called Soul. We split a salad with green apple, dried cranberries, walnuts, goat cheese and Meyer lemon vinaigrette dressing, roasted oysters, and dixie chicken. The weather was perfect and we sat out on the patio. A much needed change of scenery. Then we made a great dinner together. Cooking is one of our favorite things to do together. Turn on some music and relax. The dinner was great too. We made black bean burgers and tangy tomato-basil soup. Delicious! What a great way to spend the day with my love.
