Fell off the wagon over the weekend, rolled down the hill, and hit every single branch on the way down. I'm noticing a trend. I do GREAT during the work week. I eat well, I exercise, and as of recently I've gotten a lot better at my water intake. Then the weekend hits and all hell breaks loose. I. Eat. Everything. I don't know if subconsciously my mind is telling my body that the weekend is party time or what. I can't even tell you how many junk food items I ate, and in excessive amounts at that. I gorged. Luckily it didn't really show on the scales, I still lost weight. But I cheated and weighed myself on Friday and I was down to 195.8. Not anymore. Definitely will have to work on that.
197.0 lb Lost so far: 11.6 lb.    Still to go: 57.0 lb.    Diet followed poorly.

You made me laugh so hard when I read about the wagon, the tree, and the branches...but it really hit home because we have all been there. I think the hardest thing is to break "triggers" that cause us to fall off the wagon. Just keep going!

I know it's really hard when you slip up to get back on the bandwagon, especially when you feel like all of your hard work is going down the drain. I was the exact same way for a really long time, and it got me nowhere until I found a really solid support group. But eventually, I had a sit down with myself and I realized that it's okay to treat yourself every now and again, but make sure the portions are reasonable. Try eating small meals throughout the day (if you don't do that already), and I'm really glad to hear your water intake is on the rise! This past weekend was also a holiday weekend, and I overindulged too! Get back on the wagon, and focus on staying positive!
