Sandy701's Journal, 14 October 2010

Got a nice walk in with my doggies in wonderful sunny weather with a brisk breeze, temp near 70. Walked 3.1 miles which brings my weekly total to 12.5 miles and my full challenge total to 49.2 miles, less than a mile from the challenged 50-mile mark! There's a week and a couple days left in the challenge.

Yesterday was my 2nd day without ReddiWip and sugar alcohols. I don't notice any difference so far. That RW can still calls to me; how idiotic is that?

I did wake up this morning hungry! That usually doesn't happen. My later night snack last night was the yogurt and preserves combo. I often have that for lunch, but wanted to use it as a snack last night so I could avoid the Jello mousse desserts with the sugar alcohols.

A new "decade" in weight - feels amazing!!!

I hid the RW in the back of the fridge, and only use it when I have a fancy coffee! That is about once every 2 weeks. I had to hide it, Sandy, it is just so seductive! Adn the last time I went to COSTCO they had it in 3 packs!!! We are at the same weight, and have about the same amount to lose still. I haven't recorded the 189, because I weighed in early in the day last time and it said 189.8, and I know that I weigh less in the afternoon, so when I reweighed that afternoon it was 189, on the nose. Should go back and change it I guess! congrats on the new decade...feels great doesn't it???

It IS seductive, Stef and I really wonder exactly what's in there that makes it so. I ignore tenths of a pound for weigh-ins, so, if you used my method, you'd have been 189 the first time! And, you'd probably be 188 tomorrow. I probably won't be 189 "on the nose" for a few days yet. For me, it all works out in the wash, as I was more than exactly 235.0 when I started. I just got back from a trip to Publix, a grocery chain in a neighboring city that I don't get to very often at all. They had a Land O'Lakes heavy cream whipped topping product with NO added sugar and 0 carbs (although it has sucralose, I think). I had to try some when I got home just now and it's good, but I can definitely tell there's no added sugar. It has more of the true cream flavor to it. And....I don't feel like I HAVE to have more....and then a bit more......and than maybe some more.
