Well I was expecting to lose about 1kg this week. I followed my usual diet that I have been doing for almost a year, and didn't do anything bad at all ! No beer, no chocolate, no family sized pizza with pineapple ;) I was 100% good the whole week.
I do realise that it's not an exact science, and I am pretty confident that tomorrow or the next day there will be a drop of .3 or .4 of a kg - but I like my 'weigh in day' on Fridays to be good, and there are small tears when it is not as expected.Sometimes large flows :(
To give you an idea, my weight last Friday was 87.6, then the rest of the week went 87.5 / 87.5 / 87.3 / 87.2 / 87.4 / 87.1 and then today is 87.2 I was hoping to see 86 on the scale today for the first time since , well probably 1986 !! Next week for sure.
Maybe I was wrong about exercise. Definitely the major component of weight loss is food. I still say at least 80%, but last year I was losing 1kg+ per week easily, eating exactly what I am eating now. Yes, I was heavier, so had more to lose, but I would still expect .75kg a week loss with what I am eating (or not eating as the case may be).
When the gym opens again I will definitely have to go back (at least a couple of times a week), and in the meantime I might have to take the dog for a walk :) I've been lying to her that we aren't allowed out due to the virus, but I think she's onto me ;)
OK, until next week where hopefully I will be 86.5 or lower. I think that's fair ;)
