Strange days. I'm losing weight with the help of not drinking alcohol and not going out for lunch as we have previously done more frequently than we should. We still are eating a little ice cream or fruit bars but since we don't want to go to the store to get more, we don't eat excessive amounts. I think I must not have drunk enough water yesterday, and perhaps that explains my 1 pound weight loss overnight. I won't celebrate that one too soon.

My biggest concern right now as we hunker down to avoid the approaching virus, is what to do about my gym workouts. The gym where I work ou the cleanest gym I've ever seen, with an OCD owner who keeps it spotless and organized. There is hand sanitizer when you walk in the door, wipes in several places to wipe down the equipment before and after use. The people who are going to the gym have been doing that religiously since this whole thing started. The attendance has plummeted as coronaphobia grips our city. Classes at the gym have been cancelled. When I started working out Monday morning, it was me and my trainer (the gym owner), plus one other guy. We did not work out close together. No one coughed. About 3 other people came during the hour I spent there, again not working out close to me, and one was in the cardio room. My feeling is that the gym may be one of the safest places in the city. On the other hand, I don't want to bring anything home to my husband who has bronchiectasis, a hereditary lung abnormality. There have been no reported COVID-19 cases here. Any thoughts from the community on this?
