Draught4me's Journal, 13 March 2020

Well what a crap week. For those playing along at home I had to go see the doctor on Tuesday. Here I was worried about a finger up the bum. Well that was the least of my worries as it turns out :( I walked in there pretty confident, but the very first thing he did was to take my blood pressure. Now my doctorate is still in the mail, but I think your blood pressure is supposed to be around the 120/60 region. Well lets just say that I doubled that !! 235/120 !!! I made him do it twice !!
So from basically never having taken a tablet in my life, to having 2 a day for the foreseeable future :(
Now I don;t know if these things make me gain weight or not, but it can;t be a coincidence that the very day I took them I gained weight, and every day after that. My eating has not really changed (I did add an extra banana each day in the stupid hope that it lowers my blood pressure (potassium apparently according to dr google)).
Other wise I was really expecting to be around 87, but instead I am 2kg heavier. I have attached a picture of my daily weight chart so you can see I was doing well, then it all went bad.
Oh well, it is what it is. I believe it will even out and I will have to try even harder now :(

Cheers.

Oh my goodness Textbook BP is 120/80 🙁 I would ditch the banana 🍌 30 grams of carbs in one narny Potassium tablet / capsule better ???? Do some research on keto u need to be below 35 g total carbs or 20-25 net carbs for ketosis There is 13 or so in ONE beer And double that in the banana 🍌 Worth a crack ?

I'm not a mathematician ( I gad trouble just spelling it), but that would mean that I can only hvae 2 beers ? Well I don't think keto is for me then :)

You’re not that heavy, so I’d focus on your blood pressure, which is crackers. Your weight variation could have some thing do with the medication. That is something you could discuss with your chemist.

😯 wow get a second opinion on your blood pressure. chemists have a blood pressure machine set up where they can check it for you. gee I hope your docs machine is faulty. maybe another course of diet action or a food type elimination ie sugars helps trigger your weight loss again. Hang in there. 👍
