ZI'm in an exciting place. I left my previous low adult weight behind a couple of pounds ago, so every time I get lower, it's a new low weight. And now that I'm in the lower half of the 170s, I'm looking towards the 160s. Never in my adult life have I ever weighed 160-anything so it will be exciting to get there. It's still 4.9lbs away so we're talking another 2-3 weeks at least, but that's okay.

My goal had been to be in the normal BMI range by my birthday, but I was stuck between 177-179 for so long that I'm not sure it will happen. I have just under 8 weeks to lose just under 16lbs. Not impossible but 2lbs a week losses can be really hard for me to pull off at this stage. Even 1.5lbs is a stretch some weeks even if I'm completely on plan. So while I would still love to reach that goal, I'm also setting a new slightly more realistic one. I want to be down to at least 163lbs by then; that's a loss of 11.8lbs, totally doable. That would also put me at only around 20lbs to go to meet goal. And then if I happen to be able to lose the extra 4lbs to make my original goal, great.

Speaking of goals, I hit one. I signed up for a challenge on another site that is ending a week from yesterday. My goal weight for it was 175 even and as long as I don't gain more than 0.2lbs (not that I intend to gain any weight), I'll have met that goal.

Now if only I could look in the mirror and see someone at that weight. Most of the time I still see the 195-200lb me. I know logically that the 30+lbs I've lost have made a difference, but I'm hoping the next 30lbs make more of a difference I can see
