Another small loss :( Did n;t eat to obad this week, and surprisingly, didn;t drink all that much either. I did eat a whole pack of almonds, which look healthy (and probably are) but have a lot of calories. I'm blaming the almonds :)
Reckon I'll head back to the gym next week, not because I think it makes a massive difference to weigh loss, but because it makes a small difference, and all those small differences add up over time. Two or three times a week should be enough to trick my body into thinking I am doing the right thing :)
Now I said I was going to post up some 'before' pictures (and I am). In looking through the facebook photos I realised that I am a fat bastard !! I had actually convinced myself that there were only a few pics that I didn't like. Turns out that I don;t like any of them !! Both the pictures I am putting up were taken last year. One was in march at a quiz night (yes we won :) ) and I reckon I was about 117kg then. The other was taken earlier in 2009 with a mate from footy who now lives in bangkok. The bridge in the background is the Bridge over the River Kwai (Kwai means buffalo in Thai :) )
I actually cringe looking at these pics. I am currently 30kg lighter than these pics, and I am not convinced that I will be happy at 80kg (my goal). I will wait and see, but maybe 75 is where I need to be. I am not one of these people that will never be happy, always trying to lose a few more kg, always toning up at the gym. I just want to enjoy life without worrying about weight. That day may never come, I will always have to watch what I eat to a degree. But at least if I am not trying to lose weight, then I can enjoy myself a little more every day :)
Anyway, in a month or two I will put up the 'after' pics.
