GwendieM's Journal, 26 March 2013

I find it hard to stick to 12 hr. food plan. I am up at 6:30-7:00 and find it difficult to not eat after 7:00 when I am up most night until 11:00.
I like the weight loss so I guess I will continue doing what I am doing. A bit of kick boxing/punching while watching t.v. and light work with a yoga ball isn't difficult to maintain for exercise daily.
Good luck to all-do you guys really do juicing?

I am currently doing the Ideal Protein diet - starting week 13 and have lost 25 lbs. On the diet you can only eat every 3 1/2 hours, in the beginning it was tough, however, you can drink all the decaffinated tea (w/o cream or sugar) you want; hot drinks keep you feeling satisfied. So I began drinking flavored tea's and it helps. Keep in mind I was a coffee drinker with cream and sugar. It's amazing what you can get use to if you stick with it.

Hi GwendieM~ The diet I follow suggests not having "dry" foods and having more foods that have water so a person fills more satisfied. For example, a dry cereal eaten would make a person hungry soon after. But cereal with a cup of milk is more filling. Also, mainly eat lots of veggies as they are water based and help a person feel fuller longer. Hope this helps! I'm up about the same hours of the day as you and I don't feel hungry or snack after my dinner. I eat a breakfast, snack, lunch, snack & dinner. I am allowed an additional pre-dinner snack, but have never needed it.
