I actually started doing this in February 2013 through a bariatric doctor. My weight started out at 237 pounds on my 5'2" frame. All during February, I lost 2 ounces. I waited for all my blood work to get back and on 3/3, I found out my thyroid was low and started thyroid on the following Sunday and what a difference in the way I feel. At first, I initially lost 15 1/2 pounds in 1 week and then it tapered off and adjusted itself..as of now, 20 days into it, I am down 12 pounds and feeling good. I do 30g of protein 3x day and not heavy on the carbs and am slowly but surely learning how and what to eat. I go back to doctor on 4/3...
