Oh my gosh, where do I start....well, I gained like 4 pounds back, haven't been on here for a while, I am trying to figure out how to do this weight loss thing...for me, anyway. I have Fibromyalgia, and sometimes I feel good, like I am ready to tackle anything, and then there are times when I just want to take my pain medicine and roll up in a ball in my bed under all my covers and sleep, sleep away the day and maybe the next to get through my "roller coaster" ride of pain and fatigue. I think when I feel good, I just might over do it, then, pay for it the next week. But, I am not ready to give up my weight loss fight, and I will not let the pain consume my life or try to take it away. Damn it, it's so frustrating, I want to be vibrant, healthy and happy! I try not to do the self pity thing, or let it get me down for very long, because you know what?? You are what you think!! Thank-you for letting me vent and sorry I haven't been on here, hope everyone is doing great! I can't wait to start catching up with everyone again!!!

Stacie! We've missed you...so glad you're back. I'm so sorry to hear about what all you've been going through. You're such a strong, beautiful woman and you can overcome anything. And you are absolutely right - You are what you think! Only you can make yourself happy...and talking it out by venting is sooo amazingly healthy :D Let's make this a Fresh New Start - say to ourselves "I am worth it dammit!" And remember we will ALWAYS be here for you, to pick you back up. Keep smiling :D

Hey Stacie, Thanks for your nice journal comments. knowing that we are in this together always helps! I know that there are times when we are all feeling down. Today for example, i looked like i was 19 months preggo! i was soo incredibly bloated i almost damn near ran to the the drug store to pee on a stick. but instead, after hummin and hawin and stirring thinking is it all worth it...i felt like i was back to square one..but staring in the mirror debating nachos wasnt gonna fix that so instead i thru my ear buds in, pumped my favorite tune got into my favorite lulu shorts and went for my run. and when i got home, i felt so much better...its just hard to get going, hard to get there, but afterwards noone ever says boy i sure wish i didnt work out. and we didnt put this on in 60 days so it sure isnt going to come off in 60 days.. Perhaps there is some sort of group excercise you can sign up for in your area? its always great to have a buddy on here but buddies that want to walk with you, or step, or swim is always a great thing too. I dont know much about your condition, but no matter how down you get, you do get back online, and track your foods and doing what you can do be that happy and healthy person! you have a beautiful smile and i want you to always be smiling. Vent away sister, most people in our life dont want to listen to us be people on fs are here for just that..as a crutch, and 100 percent pure support when some people the ones close to us dont understand. So now that you are back on track make a game plan for the rest of the week! ditch all the not so great foods in your fridge or cupboards. I tttry to eat as many grams of lean protein as i wish to weigh, and lower my carb intake some what, fruits in the am only and watch the amount of sugar and sodium i consume, i eat every three hours. tiny little adjustments such as these make the world of difference. you know how important water is, carry it whereever your wonderful adventure book takes ya throughout the day, then all of a sudden its empty and water just becomes easy. im rarely ever seen without my matte black water bottle, shes my baby! and the best part about eating clean during the week? saturdays! its my cheat day, most of the time, its the day where everything i missed, chocolate, pie, strudels, pasta, pizza oh my is all mine for a whole day. and sunday i do my best to jump back on. you really appreciate that one day..you should give it a whirl its so rewarding when you know you crushed the week with healthy eats so cheat day, is usually guilt free and mighty deeelish annndd shocks your metobilism to work overtime. You said it best you are what you think and i think you are great and its time you thought so too. all my best, J

It is never easy to try to do normal things when you are in pain. I can not imagine how you do it. Just do what you can and take care of yourself is the most important thing. I have endometriosis and if I eat to much gluteen or have to many foods with caffine my stomach cramps terribly. At least I can control that with diet but it's hard to change your way of eating when you have done it for 30 years. I don't even think about it sometimes until it's to late. I hope you have a good day today and feel well enough to keep going. We are all here for you.

You guys are the best!! I actually read this the other night, middle of the night, when I couldn't sleep (been battling gerd!) So haven't been able to lay flat or really sleep very well. Anyway, you girls are awesome and thank-you so much for your words of encouragement!! Hawtsauce, thank-you so much for writing that and your advice will be taken, actually, you'll be glad to know that yesterday I did clean out my cupboards and fridge, got rid of quite a bit!! Then went grocery shopping for some fresh vegetables and fruit!! I'm working on making sure I drink plenty of water too!!! Hope everyone's week was wonderful and it's almost Friday!!!!!!

Well here you are! i have been checking up the last few days wondering, waiting and anticipating when you were gonna hit me back! im glad i inspired you to throw out some things around the house. UGH THE DREADED SODIUM..how it adds up on us and makes us feel like garbage. i find on those high days of sod i chow down on some asparagus (ashton kutcher believes this and it works!) or peppermint tea it helps with the bloating. i got rid of some sugary cereals myself, as in i shoved them into my mouth and ate them all! i was so hungry at night this past week but i acknowledged it and now ive stepped away from the trough and back on track. i am so glad that you are too, and that you are focused. the best thing is how seasonal everything is in produce. you get peaches and nectarines and then the most amazing berries, and veggies are great too. My meal plans are simple, however once i get my papers done i will have more time to make some great meals. i keep it simple cause i am busy writing rather than cooking. but like quinoa is great and lasts forever so i cook the whole box, or whole wheat spag. lasts and i only have 1/2 - 3/4 a serving. and your favorite pasta sauce add in some chicken with some shake and back and boom lunch for the week. and then whatever that week i miss, i eat on saturday..you can be as crazy as you want but if you go overboard like anything you will have the dreaded food hangover and that teaches you a lesson on its own. everything in moderation! oh ps i really enjoyed my necklace also, its one of my favorites. :)have a great thursday love!

Yes, Hawtsauce, I know dang it, I should of responded right away when I saw your post that day, but it was the middle of the night, I wasn't feeling good, pretty much in tears, and thought, man, if I write something, who knows for sure what I would say, I was such a mess!! I would of embarrassed myself!!! I guess I was partly in tears because, well, it was that time of the month and I had reflux and couldn't sleep, then I read your guys posts and just started crying because of your alls support and how you reach out to me, it really touched me!! Love you guys and thanks so much for checking in on me!! ;)
