I am following the Atkins approach for the past 5-6 years so I am so used to not eating bread or rice or potato. It is only within the last 2 years that I have given up dairy, which makes this way of eating that much more difficult. I also had to curb my soy due to hormonal problems. All that leaves me with is tons of protein and lots of veggies.

Yea, mee too. We should start a club! LOL. Don't forget nuts and seeds. :) You're doing great!

Nuts and seeds are my biggest downfall. I easily eat a jar of peanut butter a day. If it's not the peanut butter, then it's a whole jar of unsalted mixed nuts. It's my most terrible addiction. I have absolutely no self control when it comes to nuts and seeds. With the exception of cashews due to the higher carb count. When I originally lost all this weight, about 5 years ago, all I ate was soy and dairy. I lost over 70 pounds. Then I started to have all sorts of health problems. A nutritionist took me off of all soy and dairy. I then gained back about 30 pounds. My weight constantly fluctuates between 10 - 12 pounds. It's so annoying. If you ever need any food ideas, I have tons of them. Take care.

I have to stay away from peanuts too. I do fine with almonds, pecans and walnuts, though. I also like pumpkin and sunflower seeds. I put them in snack packs to take to work. I really make sure to stick to one oz at a time.

I would so miss the dairy!! But if I had to - if it was making me sick - I'd do it, too!

You guys are lucky you have such self control. Today I did pretty good. I only had a 4 1/2 oz. bag of unsalted almonds instead of a whole jar. And I just got back from an hour long kickboxing class. I'm trying.
