Completed my 3rd day with no alcohol. I love wine. The taste. The way it makes me feel, the social aspect. I enjoy drinking wine paired with about anything. However, I have decided it’s time to give my body a break from the toxins of alcohol. I’m allowing myself one “cheat” day to have up to two glasses of wine, otherwise I’m going dry until Feb 14. Then I plan to get back on the wagon for another 20-30 days. I want to shed those calories from my day to day life. Plus, going dry for awhile at a time will make me feel better all the way around. Yes, today I did think about a glass of wine, but as quickly as I thought about it, I let it go. I’m already feeling better.
