another good weigh in. I can say this new modified Atkins diet (high fat/moderate protein /very low carb ) diet sure seems to be shedding the pounds. and the hunger pangs are nearly 0. I'm using it for my brain cancer and seizures. Can't imagine it being healthy long-term though.

I am sure others will chime in, but lots of people are on it long term, once they hit their goal, they just add good carbs, veggies etc. I think you should be good. You will soon need a new profile pict, maybe george clooney or brad pit LOL ! Are they going to operate? Or? don't mean to pry...

ha! I'll go with clooney.. i have a man crush on him and my wife thinks he's HOT lol. she has a standing clooney pass from me even. my tumor is inoperable. its a diffuse infiltrative type, which means it kinda mixes with healthy tissue. think of jello, green jello is healthy tissue, red is tumor. if you are makin jello and mix green an red, once it cools you cant cut out either color. so thats not cool, but my tumor is slow growing somaybe that gives me enough time to see my 5 y/o boy grow into a man. that's all i hope for. and i hope this diet can further slow the growth and reduce or prevent my seizures. se lavi.

I keep thinking about that modified plan too - my gmother had high blood sugar and always carried an extended abdomen yet was always low cal high veggie carbs .. wondering if it would help me eliminate (mine) ~ magically even ~ as I'm not prone to ab crunches or any real hard work, LOL.
