Hi Denice, I would strongly recommend buying and reading the book. I did and have found that by making simple changes in my thought processes and food choices, I am looking at a slow, simple weight loss. Sure, it would be great to suddenly wake up one morning and weigh what I did when I was twenty. But the reality is that I didn't get overweight overnight. There was a line in the book that had a tremendous impact on me. To paraphrase it, my body wants to be a normal, healthy weight. It is what I do or don't do in my food and exercise choices that are reflected in my weight. You:On a Diet isn't a "diet" that you go on and then go off (going back to the way you've eaten before and then gaining the weight). It is the way you need to eat and move for the rest of your life. So... buy the book and read it through before you start the diet. Keep going. You can do this !!!
