Had to get a cavity filled yesterday. Ugh, I hate the dentist! Whatever numbing agent they gave me kept the entire side of my left face good and numb for about 6 hours and of course I couldn't eat during that time, because I might bite my tongue and not feel it...
I ate breakfast at 6:00am, had the filling around 11:00am and didn't eat anything until 6:00pm Some people on FatSecret fast and I have no idea how they do it. I was extremely cranky and lethargic from skipping lunch.
Oh and I had to take my doggie to the vet, because she chipped a tooth (no idea how, just noticed it when I was brushing her teeth) and the pulp tissue is exposed. Turns out our vet doesn't perform dental work and we'll have to drive 3 hours to see a specialist...
Our vet asked if cost was going to be an issue, YES. But whatever needs to be done will be done. She said worst case scenario it could cost $3,200, oh and it's $180 just to get the specialist to look at her... I hope my tax refunds will be able to cover it.
Ugh, so stressful. Not a good day, but at least I didn't binge too badly. :/
