glad to see the scale moving in the right direction...lol but I gotta eat more cause a pound in a day is a bit too fast to be healthy I think...its probably just water but...a pound of fat or a pound of water in one day either way seems like too much...maybe not. I don't know. I just want to do this right...

From everything I've read/heard/been told/made up, a pound a day can be a little excessive. You should aim for about 1-2 pounds per week. Make sure you're getting enough protein (or you start to lose muscle as well) and don't let the calories drop to low. My rule of thumb is take in between 500-1000 calories less then you burn per day and it will take care of itself. Mind you I'm not a Dr, nor a dietitian so be mindful of how your body feels and reacts as you progress. But with hard work and perseverance you can do it.

Thanks hippie! I do try to eat right and get enough protein. I have kind of a crazy unpredictable job so sometimes its hard to do...I typically plan my calorie intake for the next day the evening before and take my meals and snacks with me in a cooler...I just don't always get the time to eat them...the problem I have with this site is I think it says I burn more calories than I really do just living and doing my job so its also really hard for me to figure out just how many calories I really need to drop to...I guess I've just been trying to eat a bit more when I see my weight drop by more than .2 lbs in a 24 hour period...
