Please pray for our neighbor's 12 year old girl. She is one of my daughter's two best friends, She was hit by a truck last night while riding her bike to church. She suffered a small skull fracture and slight brusing on each side of the brain. Doctor's don't think surgery will be required and the bleeding was a small enough amount that it should be absorbed without needing drained. Her 13 yr old brother witnessed the accident. Several youth groups were notified to pray and God heard the prayers. The kids know how she was hurt, but many don't know how lucky and minor the injuries are compared to the expected. Pray God helps the kids in school today as rumors my fly. I thnk God for His hand in this, healing Dezy. Thanks for any and all prayers.
Okay, the sink has a working faucet, working filtration system and no leaks in the supply lines or any connections. However, I'm still trying to find a way to cap off the hole from the drinking faucet into the drain pipe., so we can only use one side of the sink so far. At least its the side with the garbage disposal. I'll try again today for a cap of some sort.
I walked my mile this morning, a lot slower today. I was praying/thinking more today. I also have a blister in the inside of one of my toes that was bothering me. I walked it in 25 minutes today.
Now that we have water again, I'm going to push it and hope I lose 3.4 by Mon. weigh in. That would mean I reach my mini goal. Under 190 by Sept. 1st.
