One of these days, my need for caffeine will be outweighed by the evils thereof...(sighs at self's unhealthy addictions)...until then I guess I will have to deal with the water weight roller coaster, which, by the by, is not nearly as fun as the coasters at worlds of fun! Not to worry tho, I bought some chai tea (caff free) so this morning I will try it and see if it helps my morning coffee jonesing... Fortunately I know there is NO possible way that pesky .6 lb gain is actual weight (sighs now in utter relief)...Think of me friends as I try to break another addiction. First the emotional eating (which will unfortunately be a lifelong battle), now the caffeine, and then the tobacco. One step at a time, one foot in front of the other. The war is won in the small battles!

Good on you for clearing out the bad habits. It took me 3 tries to quit smoking. (the 2nd time I'd quit for a year. Then was out drinking with the guys from my platoon and figured, "yeah I can have this one smoke" HA! nope). I had to use the patch, I was just too weak to do it cold turkey, my buddy could, but not me. Keep focused on the goal and you'll be able to do it too! Happiness and success Little!

Yeah, I have had many frustrations with the scale going down and then going up. I don't have a digital scale, I use the old fashioned kind. My scale probably wouldn't even register an .6 gain. I don't know if I have a caffeine addiction, but I'm definitely addicted to diet soda! I want to work on the tobacco eventually, too. First I want to lose the weight, then deal with the tobacco, then deal with the diet soda. I don't know what I would do with myself if I could totally lose weight, get in shape, stop smoking and stop drinking diet soda! One thing at a time, I guess.
