a little at a time...I'm happy with it! it will be a long journey but its one I'm excited to make...well worth it in the end!
288.2 lb Lost so far: 14.0 lb.    Still to go: 38.2 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

I am very impressed with your progress. Keep up the good work. Consider adding weightlifting to your program. Most women avoid this because they believe this is too masculine. Resistance training is the best way to maintain lean body mass during a weight loss phase. If you continue to lose your weight at your current pace, you will most likely lose significant muscle mass resulting in a "skinny fat" look. In other words, you will look thin, but you will look soft and mushy. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!

Great work Little. A little at a time is a great attitude, and it will be a long journey...the rest of your life! LOL. That's how I look at it. This trip I'm on isn't till I hit a certain weight, it's for me to get my nutrition and exercises going in the right direction. But that's just me. We each have different goals and different motivations, and this site is a great place to get advice and support for all of them. Feel free to swing by if you have any questions. I'm no expert, but I'll do what I can to help. (obligatory medical disclaimer -make sure to consult your Dr. before starting any new meal plan or exercise routine, even if it's just to make em jealous at how awesome you're going to look and feel!)

You're doing great, kiddo! I saw your journal post yesterday about not getting enough calories. I've had knowledgeable people tell me it is a bad idea to eat too little, so I aim for about 1200 calories daily. Some days I'll eat about 80% of that and other days 120% of that. I think it's good to mix it up and listen to your hunger. I will always try not to exceed 1800 cals if I can. But I was eating 3000 or more cals a day before I started this diet, so I'm not gonna worry as long as I don't go back to that again!
