I'm really surprised to be down 2 lbs this morning. I had wine last night, I figured that alone would dehydrate the hell out of me and I'd see a higher number.

I went to hang out with a few good friends last night that I hadn't seen in a few weeks. At first I was kind of dreading it because while I enjoy their company I go off the rails when I'm with them. Somehow hanging out delves into a big thing where I eat a lot of unhealthy stuff and drink a lot. In fact, I think that's probably how I put on a lot of the weight I lost since I was around 220ish max when we became friends.

I made the probably really wise decision to eat before I went since I knew they'd probably want to order something. Sure, I could've had a slice of pizza but that plus wine plus snacks is not something I wanted to do. I also didn't want to have to worry too much about the wine. We walked to the pizza place and I was surprised how the walk was no big deal to me and a problem to one of my friends. Had some somewhat healthier chips and the wine and it seems like that was totally fine by my body.

It's also amazing how I didn't have the compulsion to go through an entire bottle of wine by myself. In the past due to several reasons I used to be a pretty hardcore drinker. With the exception of social occasions and the really rare night at home, I don't even drink anymore. I have wine, I like it, but I don't feel the urge to get shitfaced on a bottle of it alone every week. It doesn't feel as good as getting outside among people and exercising for stress.

I seriously DO feel a little dehydrated but that might because I just woke up. (I didn't make it to bed until 2 am.)
